Mary Bogdan is an interdisciplinary artist who paints, creates 3D assemblages, photography, video and has produced several series of limited edition prints. Her works have been exhibited internationally and are in public and private collections, including MoMA - Museum of Modern Art, New York City; MuBE - Museu Brasileiro da Escultura, Sao Paulo, Brazil; MoMA Wales, UK; FluxMuseum, Texas; LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum of Art; MACM - Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal; MBAM - Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal; Musée de l'Elysée, Lausanne, Switzerland; and La Collection Loto-Québec. Recently, she has had her third book published: Madonna & Child or Re-parenting my Inner Child.

Mary holds a Fine Arts degree from Concordia University, and has participated in creative painting at the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts, and assemblage at the Visual Arts Centre. A graphic designer by profession, Mary Bogdan is co-founder and partner of Crayon Design & Communication, a Montreal-based graphic design firm, with husband artist/photographer, Sol Lang, and has won numerous international awards. Together they have also founded HeuteKunst publishing in 2007. Later on establishing HeuteKunst (heutekunst.ning.com) as an on-line social community for the purpose of networking artists around the world.

Mary Bogdan est une artiste interdisciplinaire qui peint, crée des assemblages 3D, photographie, vidéo, et elle a produit plusieurs séries de gravures avec tirage limité. Ses oeuvres ont été présentées dans plusieurs expositions et collections, inclus MoMA - Museum of Modern Art, New York City; MuBE - Museu Brasileiro da Escultura, Sao Paulo, Brazil; MoMA Wales, UK; FluxMuseum, Texas; LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum of Art; MACM - Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal; MBAM - Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal; Musée de l'Elysée, Lausanne, Suisse; et La Collection Loto-Québec. Récemment, elle a publié son troisième livre : La Madone avec l'Enfant ou « Prendre soin de mon enfant intérieur ».

Elle détient un diplôme des beaux-arts de l’Université Concordia. Elle a également suivi des cours de peinture créative au Centre des arts Saidye Bronfman et des cours d’assemblage au Centre des arts visuels à Montréal. Designer graphique de profession, elle est cofondatrice et partenaire, avec son mari, le photographe Sol Lang, de Crayon Design & Communication, une enterprise de design graphique. Mary a remporté plusieurs prix internationaux. Ensemble, ils ont également fondé HeuteKunst édition en 2007. Plus tard sur la création d'HeuteKunst (heutekunst.ning.com) comme une communauté en ligne sociale aux fins de la mise en réseau des artistes du monde entier.
