LIMITED EDITION PRINTS


I revisited this theme: Madonna & Child, or Reparenting my Inner Child, and found that there was a more peaceful feel to this theme. I am more at ease with the mother and child... there's more of an integration. There is a closeness now of the child to the mother.


Maybe I'm becoming calmer... more at ease with myself, more accepting of myself with all my intense feelings and confusions. Knowing that after the downs, there will be an up. A brighter day, and easier way... things will work out for the best in the end... no need to fret so much about everything. I am taken care of by the loving arms of the universe. I am it's child.


This series of prints was created because of my interest in old masters' paintings featuring the theme of Madonna & Child, including artists Albrecht Durer, Jan van Eyck, Botticelli, Raphael, Fra Filippo Lippi, Parmigianino, and Hans Memling.


I incorporated my deep connection to (and on-going process of) re-parenting my own "Inner Child”.
